Not A Diet: Protein Smoothies Part 2

Welcome to part two of my protein smoothie adventure, as part of my Not A Diet! Click here to read part one.

After digging down into my protein powder, I found that it did actually come with a scoop! 1 scoop is equal to 25g, which is about 1-2 heaped tablespoons. Add more or less, depending on your taste.

Skinny Caramel Frappuccino Protein Shake

  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
  • 1 tbsp caramel flavoured syrup (I used Starbucks)

  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 3 cup ice cubes

Optional: light whipped cream on top

Nutritional Information

Calories: 98 Fat: 3g Protein: 5g Sugar 3g Carbs 13g

Makes: 1 serving (approx 500ml)

Method

Once coffee is cool, combine all ingredients and blend until smooth.

Verdict

I love coffee, and I especially love frappuccinos when the weather gets warmer. This homemade frappuccino really is skinny. At only 98 calories per serving (add more for whipped cream), it gives you a protein boost and that much-needed caffeine kick. It’s the perfect drink fora summer morning.
